Donald Trump Launches Omarosa Reality Show On TV One

Donald Trump and Omarosa

Excerpts from the press release read as follows:

“Voted America’s #1 reality TV villain by TV Guide, Omarosa has yet to meet her match. . ..until now!  After mixing it up with some of TV’s toughest, including supermodel Janice Dickinson, talk show host Wendy Williams, and the “Celebrity Apprentice” Piers Morgan just to name a few, reality TV diva Omarosa has yet to give an inch in the boardroom, or on the reality set.  But now, it is time for this strong-willed and wily schemer to settle down and find a husband.

Will she marry for love or for money?   And can this bevy of bachelors tame this shrew?”

Give me a break.  I have to give Omarosa her due.  She is one of the few reality show TV stars to have made an actual career from her “15 minutes of fame.”  I still believe, she’s a “no talent,” but the woman is getting paid!  Like it or not, I firmly believe that in the case of Omarosa, “what you see is what you get.”

On the show, Omarosa will put a cadre of 12 hot, successful bachelors through a gauntlet of tests.  These challenges are designed to play upon their weaknesses, test their business acumen, measure their seductive strengths, and draw out their true intentions.  But these guys will fight back, and Omarosa may just meet her match.  But this is all a part of the love dance… and viewers will get to see what happens when “sharks” mate.

Certainly no ordinary man could possibly weather the storm that is the cunning and opinionated Omarosa.  But The Donald is not one to back down from a challenge.  Don’t expect these bachelors to be the usual band of romantic wimps and brainless him-bos seen in traditional dating shows.  These men are all successful, egotistical, and looking forward to going toe to toe with the “Big O.”

One of her potential suitors is former R&B Crooner Al B. Sure! What was he thinking?  If the “sneak peak” trailer (below) is any indication of what the show will be it doesn’t look good, however, that is just this man’s opinion.  TV One has a core audience that may like this kind of stuff.  It certainly is a step up from BET.  “The Ultimate Merger,” may prove me wrong.  It may be compelling and “must watch TV.”

The show is scheduled to debut on TV One, June 17th at 9:00 PM.

  1. Certainly looks like a major step up from the plethora of hot-ghetto-mess reality shows depicting black folk. I’m very optimistic; I know Trump and Omarosa wouldn’t dare produce buffoonery. Hey, its got my interest; I’ll take a look see on June 17th.

  2. Dison:

You make a good point about Trump not being involved in any bullshit. Like you. I will take a look on the 17th.

  3. A Reality Show on a girl who find a best match for her. These sound quiet interesting. the boys of shows to get her best match give their hundred percent so its very interesting to watch these type of show. But some peoples shows the model is doing all these for popularity may be its true or may be its not true because it knows only Omarosa. so find all these news are really true or not we should watch this reality show.

  4. JustSaying Says:

Have watched a couple of episodes….for the educated woman she makes herself out to be, I’m surprised at her grammar. That and the fact that it’s hard to be impressed with her when she is so impressed with herself. It’s hard to take anyone serious when they refer to themself as “Lady O”. Really? REALLY?

  5. I love the show! I have not missed one Thursday, and yes, I even watch the repeats. I like Omarosa, and contrary to popular opinion, she is not the bitch many believes she is. She is smart, sassy, articulate, educated, astute, and yes, without a man precisely because she has all those wonderful qualities. Unfortunately, in this society, women like Omorosa are dubbed “bitches” if they got it going on. Rather than embrace her fine qualities, she is relegated to the bitch category because she presents such a threat to the male ego. My guess is that white men (who are less threatened by black women) are much more likely to embrace her than black men (who are most threatened by black women like Omerosa). It’s a sad but true commentary. What is a black woman to do?

I am elated that she is not only doing the show but that her preference for a mate is still a black man. In many instances black women give up in their quest to find a black man and they cross to the other side. So I am elated that she is hanging in there. Yet I still see some of the same behaviors on the show that have threatened to divide us (black men and women) since our arrival to the shores of America. Of the 12 brothers that are/were featured on the show, only 2 or 3 are viable candidates for a sister like Omerosa. The others got issues. At least three of the 12 are seemingly gay, or at least effeminate. I was happy to see Mike go! What a complete obnoxious asshole!

She is down to 5 brothers at this point and I am happy to see that my favorite – Ray – is still in the running. What a sweetheart! But he is a country boy — Mississippi born and bred (I believe). I am not so sure he has the level of sophistication to fit into the high society lifestyle she has grown accustomed to. But he does have the heart and much love for Miss Omerosa (as he frequently calls her). She may need more. Perhaps love is not enough in this case. It would depend on where she is emotionally at this point in her life. If it is love, caring and kindness she is looking for, then Ray is for her. If she is looking for those qualities in addition to the level of sophistication that would have him comfortably ease into discussions on politics, social problems, religion and other issues facing this country and throughout the world, then Ray may not be enough. It remains to be seen.

But whomever she selects, wherever she might end up, I like Omerosa. I think she is the consummate professional blended with the qualities of an around the way girl!

    You go girl!

  6. i like the show as well, but let’s keep it real, how many black men is really going to let a woman get away with the stuff she does to them. she don’t really want a man, she want’s someone she can controll, do what she want them to do. like a train puppy. and to be real she needs someone who can be that strong determine man, and is still sweet and kind not a wimp you can lead on a leash. I really like Ray, he is a sweet heart, cute, fine intelligent, and just a downhome boy, but she will probably end up with the likes of lyle who is okay or, issac who is just playing a role, because, i could see threw that charade he is playing. but I am not hating do you, to get what you want. but as for her she is a “Bad B!!!!. but they address every one who doesn’t take any shit from no one.

  7. I love the show and I hope she picks Charles Parker. I think it would unwise to date Ray…he is married!!!!!

  8. I am actually surprised that Omarosa cried. I didn’t think she had any feelings. I guess I began disliking her when she argued with Piers Morgan and brought his children into their argument, which she had no right to do. Yes..she is strong, articulate, creative, etc…but I also think that behind close doors she is very lonely. All in all I wish her the best and I personally think she likes Donald Trump.
