Unsung Launches New Season featuring Sly & The Family Stone

By Black Men In America.com

One of our favorite shows on television is TV One’s award winning series “Unsung.”  This show gets better and better with every season.  If you are unfamiliar with “Unsung,” this series sheds light on some of the most influential, yet, somehow forgotten music artists of our generation.

The lineup for this season looks to be great.  If you can’t be there to watch live, set your DVR’s.  Do not miss this series.

  2. Yes, I agree! Well produced, not sensationalized, but in-depth coverage on Black talent. Quality programming! Now, if we can only get our own 24/7 News Station, doesn’t matter; Radio, or TV!.

    • Well said. Hell, if we can some balance, quality programming and better role models from the rest of our black media that would make a HUGE difference in showing realistic and positive images. I am not saying cover up the negative. I’m saying: “Show the positive and act like we have some sense.”
